Guidelines when on board The Golden Chariot

Reporting Time

• Guests are requested to report for the off-board activity ten minutes before the tour starts.
• Guests who turn up late for the off-board tours would have to either make their own arrangements for transportation or could stay on board The Golden Chariot.

Dress Code

• Attire - Casual / semi formal when on board & Formals for the GM's dinner on board
• Best to travel light when off board The Golden Chariot.
• Footwear - comfortable shoes / sneakers as at various destinations as at you may have to walk / climb long distances.
• Though assistance will be provided to those unable to take the climb, yet tour leaders should be notified in advance to arrange for palanquins at Shravanabelagola.

The Passengers Cabins
The Golden Chariot comes with 11 passenger coaches named after dynasties that ruled the State of Karnataka. All the cabins have been eleganlty designed and luxuriously furnished representing the architectural and traditional grandeur of Belur, Halebidu and Mysore.

• Guests are requested to handle with care the luxuries provided in their cabins and take special care of the classy carpets and other plush furnishings in the cabins.
• It is advised to keep your valuables in the Safety lockers are provided in your cabin.

The Public Coaches ( Restaurants & The Bar)
Nalapaka and Ruchi are two restaurants on board The Golden Chariot that serve autentic Indian and Continental cuisine.
Madira, which means the nectar of the gods, is a well-stocked bar on board The Golden Chariot.

• Take note of the timings of the restaurants and the bar when they are announced on the PAS.
• All the consumables at the Madira would be charged for.

The Gym, Spa and the Business Centre
Gym, Spa and Business Centre are available on board The Golden Chariot to make your journey an ultimate luxury experience.

• Services rendered on this coach would be charged for.
• Guests can readily make use of the business centre to download music of choice.

Wildlife Resort
The off board tour to Kabini/ Bandipur includes an overnight stay.

• Guests are requested to notify their respective agents a week prior to the tour, in case they do not want to stay over night.
• Guests who do not wish to opt this tour would be endowed with an alternative itinerary.
• All are expected to abide by the law of the country. You are on your own risk if you violate laws.

Passengers not interested in the Bangalore sight-seeing tour can directly report at the Yeshwanthpur Railway station at platform No. 6 by 8 pm.

On Board Entertainment, Comfort & Luxury
The Golden Chariot is the name of complete Luxury, Comfort & Entertainment on board.

• Plasma TVs have been placed in each of the cabins, restaurants and the bar
• All the cabins on board have been meticulously crafted by the craftsmen from the State of Karnataka to create an instinct of Karnataka when on board.
• The Linen used is made of raw silk and woven to depict the various cultures and art forms of the state.
• On board spa, gym and business centre are available to take care of the demands of the contemporary cosmopolitan travelers.
